New program asking why I want to apply - website has no info

Hi!

I'm applying to MCPHS University. One of the questions asks why I want to apply to MCPHS. It's a new program and I don't know where to familiarize myself with what makes the school special. I went on the faculty listing, but it doesn't even say their specific areas of study or recent publications. Any ideas on how to go about asking this question?

Well why do you want to apply? What's wrong with honesty?

The truth is, I'm applying to a lot of optometry schools to increase my chances of getting in somewhere. I don't know anything about the school, so I can't research it like I did the others. I know that's not a great response, but it's the honest one.
