ok, I have a question. I will be applying this summer. I plan on taking my DATs in late may, while completing the application ASAP (mid may?). Now, my question is.. what if I have to take the DAT again.. say in September.. do I just send the colleges my new scores? So they will know what I got first time, and then second time?

And.. how much does AADSAS charge per application (per school), does $$ vary depending on school? And whats with the deposits?

Thanks

hah, i know im gonna get a bunch of people telling me to search in all sorts of creative ways, but if someone could jus answer the question.. thanks.

yes, u send your scores again if you have to retake the dat. you choose the schools you want to send it to when you apply to take the dat. it costs $10 per score report. i believe the first 5 are free.

when you apply for dental school there are 2 application fees. there's the aadsas application fee and then there's the school's processing fee. the school's fee varies (ballpark 50-70$/school). the aadsas fee depends on how many schools you apply to. it's graded. the first school is most expensive. after, like x number of schools, it gets cheaper. for instance, you might pay $165 to apply to one school. but if you apply to 10, it will only (haha) cost you $1000, not $1650. (i picked the prices arbitrarily, i don't remember the actual cost.)

ok thanks.

also the application isnt available for next year till june 1st, itll take a while to fill out etc so you probably won't get it in till early july at the earliest. This is fine however as most schools, although on rolling admissions, don't start looking till the very beginning of sept. as long as its in by then you'll be in the first group which is perfect.

Just want to confirm something. The AADSAS application won't be available until June 1? I thought it was mid May.
