Hey all, I just checked my AADSAS application and under the designations, it says the date my initial application was mailed out, then it says New Revisions mailed out on Nov 8th? Anyone have a clue what this means? What could they be revising and why does it say they mailed it on Nov 8th if we arent even in nov yet??

Maybe they got a clue and decided to start actually telling kids when things are going out vs the famous. "Uhh, It sould go out in 2-98 weeks. We're not real sure, but thanks for your cash! Now we can afford to have our lunches imported from Paris."

Na, your giving them too much credit... I dont think they still have any clue what so ever... Because my application was sent out in september, so I don't even know what they are revising and sending out (or claim they sent out) on nov 8th... And as for their lunches, with the ammount we paid AADSAS to send a couple of photocopies and stamps, I think they are having their lunches imported from paris, who imported them from the US in the first place...

Normally, a revision is done when the first attempt was not the best one. In this case, and acoording to AADSAS's low standards, a revision is a very polite way of confessing that they messed up the first time they mailed out your application so badly that they have to re-send it. For example, the essay or any other section was sent blank (things that have happened to other applicants this cycle). Sometimes I really wonder what the service was that we paid AADSAS for.

You mean sending blank copies of our application papers and delaying/hurting/killing our chances of getting accepted to a dental school, which will be our future and how we support ourselves and our families isnt providing a good service? I say it was money well spent... Ya know, getting accepted is hard enough without all of this nonsense... SIGH, time to make some phone calls tomorrow.....
