I took OAT in August, 2008 and I just realized that there's a new scale for the scores... but I reported to the schools that I wish to attend the old scores?!! What can I do?

And... how do I convert them into the new scores? Is there a system to do so?

The school should know how to convert them, in the score update it said that the score changes only affected people who took the exam before the changes and then retook after the changes. The old scores are still valid. Personally, I don't think there was that much of a difference between the old and new scores anyways.

As long as you did well back in 2008, don't worry about this. The OAT is a standardized test; the entire scoring scale was readjusted in the spring of 2009, and there is no way for you to directly convert old scores to scores with the new scale. But it isn't a problem for you; OAT scores are valid for two years. The only way you'd have issues, as mshea413 correctly pointed out, is if you took the OAT multiple times, with one or more attempts being with each of the two scales. This could, depending on the precise scores breakdown, have the 'odd' effect of giving you a slightly lower score for a section on a more recent attempt, even if you actually did slightly better. But based on the information provided in your post, you shouldn't have any problems with regards to that.
