  1. Pre-Medical
3.3 gpa, 27p mcat. lots of volunteer/ec/research exp at the hospital

i cant decide between the two (sgu or saba). I want to do family medicine and eventually come back to Canada. SGU is way more expensive, SABA is alot less. SGU is apparently more recognized, SABA is newer. But, SABA also has the most Canadian students, and matched the most back to Canada for residency.

In either case, I would want to start SGU by aug'09 or saba by may '09.

Either one will do the job. I will just focus on getting good step scores. I would just pick one and go with it and focus on doing good in class. SGU's price comes with better facilities, enviornment, etc... But Saba will do the job as well...

My girlfriend graduated Saba, I graduated from SGU. Saba is by far cheaper, and I do know that many Canadians who go to Saba end up doing residency back in Canada. I am not sure the reason. I do know that many Canadians come to SGU, but most end up doing residency in the USA. I had some friends in this boat, and they wanted that, b/c they wanted to make more money in the USA (although they obtained citizenship through marriage).
SGU has a better education, MUCH better clinical rotations, better campus, better residency mathing in the USA, blah blah. But if money and going back to Canada are the top concerns, go with Saba.
