New STEP 1 format

Does anybody have any experience with the NEW step 1 format? I know it might be a little early to ask but since today was day 1, Im sure someone took it.

my understanding is that there really isn't a new "format" per se, just that are two fewer questions per block, with an obliteration of non-vignette based questions. Maybe I'm wrong and someone else'll chime in, but I don't think it's worth worrying about.

Yeah, I'm sure its not completely different, but its good to have an idea about it. It could only help to know what people who took it think about it. Anyway, lets wait and see.

This.... as I understand it too, they are doing away with non-vignette questions and to keep blocks at one hour each, are making the total number of questions per block 46, instead of 48? Can't see it making too much of a difference in the grand scheme of things, although I guess the score delay is due to their way of being completely statistically rigorous.
