add 3.8% to your capital gains taxes if you're 200k/single or 250k/couple.
this is on top of the existing 15% (long term gains) and 33-35% short term gains (for our income bracket).

salary tax increase of about 1%, as well.

it's nothing drastic, but they just keep chipping away, don't they.

Members don't see this ad.

add that also to your interest amounts (for any of us dumb enough to actually have savings) and rent (in case you were also dumb enough to invest in a rental property). New taxes/fees summary here

Oh its drastic alright!

When do we actually start rewarding productive members of our society instead of penalizing them to cater to the leeches?
