New to DAT -- Help !!

Hello everyone 🙂

I've written Canadian DAT in Feb for the first time without studying at all and of course did really bad. So, this time I'm just starting to study alone with the kaplan DAT book (not the course) and not sure when I would take the exam.. (probably in July? late June?)

What I'm wondering is that if there are any practice or sample DAT exams? Since I have no knowledge of american DATs I don't know where I can get those samples for practice just to get an idea of it.

Also any advice on how to study for american DAT is welcome!
Do you review this kaplan DAT book for a month and then just write the exam or do I have to be aware of anything special?

I felt REALLY bad walking out of the MCAT test room in July and
I just found out my MCAT score: VR 7 Bio 11 Physics 11 Essay Q (well at least I did fine in the other ones..which was quite unexpected for me)

I've never been strong in verbal section......and I'm not sure if it would be better to retake MCAT.

Do most schools take the best, average MCAT scores, or the latest one?

If I retake my MCAT the scores will be released in the end of September and I'm thinking that may be disadvantageous?

Tell me how you think about this. Any advice is welcome!🙂
