Hi everyone. Just curious about the general time span one usually takes to study for the DAT. I've heard of spans ranging from 3 to 8 weeks, but I was hoping for more of a solid estimate. Also, what books would work well? I've heard of DAT Destroyer, but that's pretty much it.

Thanks!

This is def not new. Try the DAT section, not pre-dental.

I meant to say that I was new to pre-dent. Apologies.

There is no cookie cutter time frame for good results. It varier per person (based on how fresh the material is in their head, their understanding of the material, how quickly they can grasp concepts, etc.). Some people on here claim to have studied for 3 weeks and got 20's across the board, some people study for months and don't get a single 19. As mentioned above, the DAT section would be a better resource though.
