After tons of research I have decided that I want to pursue a career in physical therapy! I am a recent graduate and am in the process of completing prereqs at a local community college. However, I am a little unclear of the process and was wondering if anyone could shed some light on observation hours. What is the best way of going about and getting these hours and when should I start? Is simply volunteering at a physical therapy clinic or hospital considered in these observation hours?... or do I actually need to be working with a pt. I was just looking at a couple hospitals online and under physical therapy volunteer it just states that volunteers would be helping with clerical duties and whatnot... so I was wondering if thats considered along with the observation hours.
