Hello, not only am I new to this site, I'm new to the PCAT. I take it in January. I've been out of calc and chem for some time and am just brushing up on the basics. is that sufficient or do I need to be pulling out the old texts books? Any other advice would be great too!!! Thanks!

I recommend the complete idiot's guide to calculus, calculus for dummies (they have a work book for practise), and precalculus demystified. Swear by these books. They got me through Calc I & II with an A- in both.

And try Organic I & Chemistry for dummies. They have practise books. I have never tried either, but they have good reviews on Amazon.com. Plus chemistry is all about practise, practise, practise.

You won't need to review everything in every book. Look at the list of topics that will be covered on the PCAT website.

Good Luck!!
