What's your New Years Resolution for 2012! Mine is:

1. Be more organized. I was way too disorganized this semester, even losing a rough draft of a lab report!
2. Get in shape. Try to run a mile in less than 6 minutes.
3. Get better at ping pong.
4. Be a better person 🙂

This has been my New Years Eve "resolution" for the past few years now. It's worked out quite well.

That said, I do have goals for the semester: attempt to get a 4.0, become more organization, among other such things.
 
1. Aptly prepare for the zombie apocalypse
2. Drink more
3. Improve my application

Get a good grades on all my classes and try to at least get a 3.5-3.7 (being realistic)
Be more organized with everything
Get a hole in one this year or at least get more birdies instead of bogeys
Catch up with sleep as much as I can
Help my family as much as I can
 
I'm going to try to maintain a healthier diet. It's not too unhealthy now, but there's always room for improvement. I also resolve to have many epic experiences this year, like the sweet southwestern hiking trip I'm planning before med school starts.
 
My #1 goal for 2012? Stop baking cookies whenever I feel anxious and compulsively handing out said cookies to random strangers/hobos outside of my apartment.

stop eating out so much for lunch at work. i started this resolution last month and i have saved 500 dollars already. mcdonalds isn't even cheap anymore. a value meal + a coffee is like 9 bucks.
wake up earlier.
sell my xbox360+skyrim+DS+pokemon white+heartgold which i just got 1 month ago and it's sucking up all my time.
eat better. i tried eating quinoa and veggies and fish with no fat or sugar but it didn't work out for too long. milk tasted very sweet after not having any sugar for a while. carrots tasted very sweet, too.
be friendlier to people and get the courage to ask my professor for a letter of recommendation.
floss every day.
no spending on pointless crap anymore. used to go to CVS and buy 50 bucks worth of stuff on a whim. need to save enough money for plastic surgery before med school interviews and to make sure i save enough very soon so the scars will heal in time.

i misspoke a bit. not "scars" but like you know how after plastic surgery healing time for swelling and bruising and other stuff. apparently it takes at least a few months for everything to look normal again.
 
To dump my girlfriend so I can have more time to study for the MCAT and to play Halo: Reach.... Jk!
1. Get all A's this semester since is is my last semester.
2. Do a boat load and ECs because Im behind.
3. Get over a 34 on the MCAT.
4. Have fun while doing because my life has been lacking it due to excessive studying, which paid off last semester (4 As and a B+). Curse you genetics!
5. Start back working out.

Run my first 100 miler before starting school in August.
 
1. Do better in my classes. I slacked off a little last semester and it hurt me in one class.
2. Become more organized.
3. Get help with my studies if I'm starting to sink, instead of just thinking "I can do it myself!"
4. Continue to lose more weight (34 pounds lost since July!)

There are probably way more.
 
To not get crushed to death by a falling chandelier. Last year's was not to get abducted by aliens from outer space. I feel confident I will accomplish this years' one too.
 
1. Stop oversleeping!! As it is now, I simply get out of bed, walk across the room, shut off my alarm and crawl back under the covers, usually with little or no memory of doing so afterwards.

2. Stop being the "good cop" parent and try to be more of a unit with my hubby on the parenting front😛

3. Better communication habits: be quicker to return phone calls, mail things, and pay attention to facebook messages
 
1. Try to get in at least one medical school.
