Hi Everyone,

A friend in Manhattan emailed me today letting me know, that he needs a roomate, and to pass the word along to anyone I knew who might be looking. Well...I don't know anyone personally, but perhaps someone here? Alls I know is it's $550 a month. He's @28 yr. old male, law school student. If interested, buzz back.

Have a great day,

Is it Manhattan? If it is, where in Manhattan is it?

How much does he pay for the utilities?

Is he looking for students?

Pikeyman,

Students should be great. His old roomate is now a dental student moving to Philadelphia to attend UPenn, hence...the opening, and as I had said, he's a law student. I don't know all the details, but I'd be happy to get him in touch with you. I believe the apartment is located in Harlem, but I'll have to check. PM me and you can give him a ring, or email if you'd like. 👍

Get what you pay for. In New York, you pay for what you can get.

No wonder the rent is $550/month.

that is a pretty decent price even for Harlem (which is a nice area contrary to popular belief--I live there 🙂 )

Harlem is close to campus for columbia students.

So much for reading comprehension. 😉 He needs a roommate-- so the rent is $1100, not $550. Still incredibly cheap for the city, though. (my friend's saxophone instructor has a literal cubicle-- seriously, 20x16-- in midtown for $2500/mo  )

If anyone else is looking for an apartment or would like to list their apartment with Columbia's housing office (which would be a good idea for this poster) you can contact:
