New York State GPR

Hi all,

I was wondering since there are so many GPR programs in NY if that meant that the chances of getting accepted as on out-of-stater would be greater? I am currently a 3rd year student in the midwest but I have my extended family in NY and am really interested in doing residency there.

There are tons of GPR programs in NYC and some of them usually have unfilled spots left over after Match so I think your chances are really good

Several hospitals have open spots after post match- even some of the specialities...all the best
