Hey guys,
I will be an incoming D1 student this year and I was just looking up the examinations to take to practice in New York. I know that NBDE part 1 and part 2 are required. After graduation, I plan to practice dentistry in New York. I have looked online and cannot find any information regarding this.

Why does New York State not show any license requirement? Am I missing something here? Can someone clear this up for me?

You have to complete any clinical residency program (whether it's 1, 2, 3, 4 or 6 years) before getting your license in New York. Fellowships don't count. You can't take a test to get licensed, like in other states.
