Hi all,
The point I want to discuss with you is as follows:
I might have the chance to join an advanced program in orthodontics for one year at New York University. However, during that year It is a must for me to do the NBDE both parts I & II . So my concern is :would I manage to get high scores in NBDE while at the same time attending the advanced program ? would it be a better choice if I joined one of the KAPLAN centers instead?

Thanks in advance.

It depends what your REAL GOAL is.
I have friends that did that program, and are very happy with what they learned, so the program. FACT: the program is good.
Now why do you want to take the nbde? is your final plan to work as a dentist in the US? if it is, my opinion is: Study for the exam...that is what is going to help you, because if you want to learn and take advantage of the international program you will dedicate it a lot of time. You can combine it with Continuing Education courses, to fell that you are conected with the profession.
Hope this helps.

Thank you USM.
In fact, it is not my goal to practice dentistry in the US. but I do need NBDE to be able to join post-graduate programs there since, as you know, almost all of these programs require NBDE scores.
