personal statement complete it as soon as you can. make sure you do a good job writing it cause i consider it to be one of the most important things you will ever have to write.
due date: umm June 1 sounds like a good time to have it finished.
LORs: ask now. give them several months to work on it so they dont feel rushed. You dont need these until you receive your secondaries so if you can get your letters by end of June, thats good.
i highly recommend 5 LORs.
The requirement range is from 3 to 5.
You should have at least 2 science profs, 1 humanity prof, and one extra one (volunteering, research).
This is only 4 so for my 5th one I just asked another science prof.
3 science, 1 hum, 1 vol. is what i had and its been just fine for me.
