Next step after AADSAS application

I just submitted by AADSAS application, my question is do I need to submit the supplement information right now or when I am contacted by the schools, since there is discrepancy on the AADSAS supplement sections and some of the schools. The schools that I am interested are USC, UCLA, UOP and UCSF.

If you have the option (or access) to the supplemental applications for any of those schools, I would recommend filling it out and then enjoying the rest of your summer. 😀

You don?t have to do anything. Wait about 6 weeks for AADSAS to precede the application. Then the schools will send you the supplemental application along with some latter saying "thank you for applying; now send us 50 bucks?.

Hey Balance,

I know that UPenn has their supplemental available online (at least they did last year). Schools that you can access the supplemental applications are ones that you can start working on. Otherwise, you can't really do anything until the schools contact you. Besides enjoy your summer. 🙂

A lot of schools put their applications online and after you submit your AADSAS application you submit the individual school's online using your AADSAS ID. UNC-CH had me do it in that manner and it wasn't terribly hard. A lot of schools mail you secondaries as well. Just go to the individual school websites and look at the application procedures.

Check individual web sites. For UOP, I know that they don't even look at your application until they have your $75 application fee. That slowed down my app last year, so I already sent in the application fee and got a letter from them yesterday.

Make sure that you've completed, to a T, the LOR requirements and transcript requirements. Again, for UOP, my application wasn't even complete until I had exactly two LORs from science professors since I didn't go through a predental committee. Read the fine print, especially for the schools you really want to go to, and make sure it's all done.

ok people. one more time:

-when you fill out your AADSAS app online, there is a page (i think under the instructions section) which will CLEARLY guideline what each and every school would want you to do.
-after you have your AADSAS#, some schools want you to submit the fee, a passport photo, transcripts (which you already have sent by now through AADSAS) etc etc
-other school would want you to wait to send those things till you are notified.


the secondary apps would be sent to you at a lter date.

find that page from AADSAS and print it. keep this page in your file and note on it which schools you have sent what. this will help you be a lot more organized.

its lists each school, what they want from you, when they want it from you, and where to send it.

as for as your schools goes OP, this is what they had last year:

UCLA fee+DAT scores with ur AADSAS
UCSF fee, secondary wait 2 b contacted
UOP fee, DAT with ur AADSAS
USC fee, DAT with ur AADSAS

I just contacted UCLA and they mentioned send the supplemental information when you are contacted by UCLA, even though, the AADSAS mentions to send the supplemental information with AADSAS information.

you are right on UCLA. the same thing actually happened to me last year. can't believe they still haven't fixed that error.
