Is the transcription factor NF-kB pronounced as nuclear factor "kappa beta" or "kappa B"?

I realise this point has little scientific significance, but its nice to say thing correctly and none of my classmates can reach a consensus on the etiology of this word. If you have a specific reason for why you think its one way or the other I would appreciate the explanation as well. Thanks!

kappa B

Referring to kappa as in kappa light chains and B as in B cells.

yep. that is a B and not a beta. In writing I have a bad habit of mixing and matching all of my greek and english letters as I write quickly, but your professors should have said this aloud at some point.
