Tick tock...
Hey Team,
I did some digging; although last year the scholarship portal opened March 1st, in 2015 it opened on March 10th, so going to stay patient. I am doing some reading and it looks like the NHSC is connected to the Affordable Care Act in ways that are not entirely clear to me, so hopefully the revamping that takes place under the current administration allows for the continuation of this program.

Is it rolling admission? the earlier you apply the better chance you have?

Interesting find. Will be interesting to see how all this repeal the ACA will affect this. Hopefully not much though.
From what I gather it is not rolling admissions. They start going over applications only after the deadline. Is it rolling admission? the earlier you apply the better chance you have?
when is the deadline usually? (in terms of months)
Two months after the day it opens, likely early May this yearwhen is the deadline usually? (in terms of months)

Did you apply for FAP or the DAT waiver?
Did you normally receive pell or state grants during undergrad?
Yes, I got the FAP from AADSAS but didn't apply for a DAT waiver. I received pell grants all throughout undergrad.Did you apply for FAP or the DAT waiver?

I attended CC, and UC. Then i went to CSU for postbacc. Which one of those financial aid offices should i contact for disadvantage background verification?
If you got pell grants through out undergrad do you qualify as EFN?
Your dental school financial aid office takes care of it.I attended CC, and UC. Then i went to CSU for postbacc. Which one of those financial aid offices should i contact for disadvantage background verification?
No, but it shows you received need-based support in the past, meaning you may qualify as financially disadvantaged. Your dental school financial aid office will determine that.If you got pell grants through out undergrad do you qualify as EFN?
Awesome. Thank you.Your dental school financial aid office takes care of it.
