NIH opportunities

I am a US citizen, FMG, have completed internship in internal medicine in an ACGME accredited residency program. I am actively looking for further GME and work opportunities as well. I learned that there are numerous residency/fellowship programs sponsored by NIH, but it seems that most of the programs require a completion of residency program first for application. Also, with a MD degree and internship training, I can work for NIH for some research program, but I do not know how to obtain further information about jobs in NIH. Information on NIH website seems like a puzzle to me.

So anyone has ideas how to obtain a research job in NIH?
