Has anyone worked at NIH as a postbac IRTA for 3 years? I am looking to move to another lab after completing my 2 years at my current NIH lab.

Is it pretty much impossible?

Thanks!

they changed their guidelines to max 3 years, so you can possibly. Otherwise, you can also do CRTA.

oh do you know where you saw that requirement? cause I'm having trouble finding it.

What do you mean by CRTA?

um it's on their IRTA website, it is highlighted in red and should become active after April.

Nobody knows what it means, but it's provocative. It gets the people going
it's kind of like a technical assistant but in my opinion it is just another method for you to spend your years at the NIH. It is perhaps meant more for those that are more matured applicants.
