Has anyone been here? What was it like, would you reccommend applying? Any potential for publication?
On a side note, do programs like these and Sloan Kettering and MD Anderson look more prestigious or prestigious in general relative to doing research in a respected department at a good school? I know it all depends on your research and publications, but generally speaking. If you saw on my CV, "Medical student fellow at MD Anderson or NIH" and maybe a publication, relative to a publication from summer research at "top 10 univ"---I just want to get an idea as to how prestigous these national summer research programs for med students really are and obviously the experience there. Thanks for your help.
