So I was at the supermarket two days ago and I saw a box set of Nip/Tuck season two. I have already devoured season one. I was in the mood to get it when I saw that it was forty five bucks. A little steep for me. I decided to get it anyway. When I went to check out the price came up as 20. I looked at the cashier and said, "I think its supposed to be forty." He said, "Nope, looks like 20." I said booya and left.

Well, since there is a Grey's Anatomy thread, I thought I would start a Nip/Tuck thread. Share your thoughts on any season, even the current one. There are no saps like Denny on Nip/Tuck, just real men like Dr. Troy.

Anyways, I LOVE this show ! They are always pushing the limits of decency, ethics, censors, you name it ! And what a treat to see Mario Lopez in that shower scene ! Woo hoo !
I was very proud of Julia for deciding to go back to med school last season after killing the lady she thought was her mom and now she is back to being a doormat. That sucks ! I was glad to see Kimber back, so when are they going to show Gina ?
Oh, and I like the new girl but have no idea what she is up to. I am sure it will be even more shocking than anything I could come up with....

It's the only "medical" show I watch. However, this year has way too much naked man ass in it. No thanks on that. Other than that, great to see Kimber back, but down with the scientology bit. Very cool that Dr. Troy picked up an orange Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder. Nice way to open the season with a Troy/mother/daughter three some, lol :laugh: Classic Nip/Tuck right there.
 
Too much ass in this season. Other than that fantastic show. Favorite part was in season 3 when Dr. Troy puts a bag over the chick's head.

Hahahahaha yeah that part was hysterical :meanie: . However, I am pissed at N/T currently because

1. Sean would not cheat on Julia!!! I am so mad he did that right before their handicapped child was born!! I thought he was all into being respectable again.

2. They need to stop alluding to Christian being gay...he loves ***** way too much!! He's such a man-*****, the maybe bi-thing needs to stop!

Men in Prison love ***** just as much as anyone else, but that doesn't seem to stop them from developing a love for the casual anal penetrative encounter.

Actually, I think because Christian is SUCH a man-*****, it makes sense that he would be into sex with everybody. 😉

Its okay🙂 I saw the slater's ass part in the previews from "this season on Nip/tuck". But its all good cause I'm watching it right now!!

I'm watching last night's episode now. WOW ! I LOVE this show ! I LOVE getting shocked - Poor Liz ! It makes you NEVER want to go to a club again. I know I'm scared now. Is there any truth to an organ stealing business in Miami ?

Does anyone have any idea what's up with the new girl and the old lady ? Is the old lady her ex-madam ? What happened to Julia's business (I thought she had given it to Gina ?) and why didn't Liz recuperate there ?
 
N/T has gotten reallllllly weird. I predicted the dog and peanut butter, dog in a bag, and that Michelle used to be a hooker...too strange though.

I did like how Sean got pissed when the "little person" touched Julia's boob even though he was screwing that annoying girl.

And the whole kidney stealing?? Where did THAT come from??

Next episode looks like it should be good.
 
I used to love it, now I just cringe. Its filled with horrible ethical lapses and surealism

it has gotten weird....seriously, the whole dog licking that woman's nipple thing was kinda creepy, but it was funny when her husband killed it..hehe 🙂 besides that, I wanna see what happens with kimber and matt!!!
 
I though it was funny that Sean's wife said that they had messed up their normal child. Such horrible parents those two are, they keep on forgetting their daughter. I swear, they must keep her caged in a room somewhere.

It's kind of nasty how Kimber shares with everyone. Not to mention her doll ! 👎
 
The superfluous butt shots in the past few episodes is getting to be a bit much, though I must say that I'm impressed that Mario Lopez has enhanced the beefcakiness since Saved by the Bell.
 
So what did you guys think of the whole cleft palate story as Sean's underlying motivation for his son's surgery ? It seemed a little trite to me....
Overall, this was not one of the better episodes. Last week's was better. It looks like all the newbies are back next week. And Christian gets himself into MORE trouble.
I think that's what I like about this show is that despite the overall success of the doctors and their lifestyles and romances, they always seem to mess things up for themselves. And even though the storylines can get a little farfetched, (having worked with doctors for 8 years) I have seen some of this self destructive behavior firsthand. So I like the quasi-realism.

I would say I have to respectfully disagree. I thought it was actually one of their better episodes. It was a nice break from all the sex/adultery/kidney stealing and showed a much different side of Christian. I also liked Sean's flashbacks alot and his parents differing views on his condition. Damn that homerwecker Marlo though...
 
One question: Why in the world was monique in that episode????

Making money. The show seems to be attracting a lot of stars or former stars this season: Melissa Gilbert (I haven't seen her in ages !), Rosie O'Donnell, Sanaa Latham, Jacqueline Bissett (but I guess they dug her up, too, because I haven't seen her in ages, either), etc.

She looked better in nip/tuck than I've ever seen her before.
 
I think nip/tuck has gone downhill. All it is is contrived, unrealistic drama ALL the time. I mean Julia's in love with the midget now??? It seems like Sean and Julia will never again have a good relationship. It still is my favorite show, though.

Also, I hate that all Sean and Julia ever do is cheat on each other! And recently when julia said "i better never catch you with another woman" and then she hooks up with the nanny!! I swear with this, the nanny in ER, the nanny in real life w/Sara Evans...I'm never getting one!! All they do is sleep with the parents.


I'm so angry at Julia/Marlow. They should be thinking about their baby and not lengthening legs so they can more easily get it on.
 
How could Julia fall in love with the nanny? He is too philosophical about being handicapped. He annoys me just like that "heartless" dude, denny, on greys anatomy.

Also I thought it was great that the Christians ex pseudo girlfriend was played off to be a prostitute but then a couple weeks ago we find out that she is not selling her body but stealing peoples organs. Classic.

He goes over to Jackie Bissett's house and she hands him a drink which knocks him out. Then she makes Sanaa come over to save him. Sanaa says h'es gonna know you poisoned him and then Jackie says not if he dies.
