NJ training permit??

Do interns starting this july need a training license or permit in NJ? Did you have to do any paperwork with the board? I heard that your medical school needs to send a verification form to your hospital but not to the board for your internship permit.

In general, your program will obtain your training license. Most states do not allow individuals to apply directly for a training license, you must be sponsored by a program. That being said, your program probably forwarded you a bunch of paperwork to complete, some of it would have been for your training license. If you haven't gotten / filled out that paperwork, you should contact the Program Administrator for your program next week to see if there is something you need to do.
