Hey guys I still haven't heard anything from NJMS post-interview...Tuesday will be 9 weeks....what is going on do you think?

that'a bout right for all non-rolling schools now. Classes are filled.

Since the class is filled, it would be better if they pause thier decisions until some people withdraw. If that doesnt happen you will be either waitlisted or rejected.

they are gonna be holding most decisions....until april/may

so are they debating whether to reject or waitlist me? Otherwise, shouldn't I have just been tossed on the waitlist like everyone else and wait until May?

very worried 😕

I think it could be good thing that you haven't heard from them yet. It could mean that they want to accept you, but they are just waiting for people to withdraw. If they waitlist you right now, you wouldn't be reviewed again and accepted until March/May.

Ok guys tomorrow is going to be 9 weeks post-interview and still, I've gotten nothing in the mail. I hate to be neurotic and all...but I hope what premedgeek said is right. I mean, you don't think they've already filled the class and the waitlist, do you...in which case they're waiting for people to withdraw to make room for me on the waitlist? I hope it's the acceptance they're waiting to bump me in for. Any more insights? Thanks a million 😳

Premedgeek's theory sounds reasonable to me. They only took about a month to get back to me with an acceptance. They even tell you that as you are leaving the interview that they will get back to you between 4-6 weeks. So if they are taking this long, maybe they are waiting for an acceptance spot to bump you into. I recently withdrew from NJMS and I hope you get it. 👍
