Q about a 46 yr old who died in a MVA and then autopsy was done and then they show you a pic of horseshoe kidney. They ask something like what would you expect this person to have had.
The 2 choices I was stuck between were :

D- normal renal function
E- vesicoureteral reflux ( i chose this but don't know definitely if this is the answer)

according to medscape, there is mention of VUR in half of pts with horseshoe kidney. I don't see anywhere where it mentions they have normal renal function.

Can anyone help? thx

I think it's D, but they could have an increased risk of UTI, iirc

besides the cause of death is completely unrelated to kidney problems, so I'd go with normal. don't quote me on that though.
