I never studied NMR and IR in orgo (aside from a little interpretation I had to do in Lab), do I need to know anything beyond what is in the destroyer?

Anyone suggest a tutorial, or quiz sheet of IR/NMR problems?

NMR gives me more trouble than IR....

Please let me know!

Just the basics, H-nmr and C-nmr, spin-spin splitting, different types of hydrogens and number of hydrogens.

I had 3 problems with graphs that I had to identify the structure. and one or two that I had to tell the number of peaks :scared:

Schaum's covers it pretty well.

...my orgo professor gave our class a website with a huge array of proton NMR and IR spec. problems but I can't remember the site. And the only one that I can find remotely familiar is this one:

http://orgchem.colorado.edu/hndbksupport/spectprob/problems.html

After looking at some of the problems I think this is the site but for some reason I am wanting to say it was a Cali. university site my professor gave us. Anyways, hope this helps and good luck 👍

Chads videos were great for this section, very concise on what is most important. I would suggest watching the video and memorizing the sheet with the different IR signals and how doublets, singlets ect. work.
