Nmr/ir on dat

Hey guys,

How much IR NMR stuff is on the real DAT? I've only taken orgo 1 so the orgo section is a little daunting. I have been exposed to IR before but never NMR and I'm finding it to be kind of confusing.

For those who have taken the DAT, how much of the orgo section covers scectroscopy ? Should I be prepared for at least a few questions in this field?

I haven't done the DAT yet, but after a few practice tests, the only questions I came across of that resemble HNMR are like:

How many different peaks will you get or something like that. They give you the molecule obviously.

I don't think you need to know it in 100% super duper detail, but you should know how it works, and how to figure out what corresponds to what peak.
