The question asks to give the # of NMR signals and how many peaks are present for NMR sigmals.
I have 2 peaks which I guess is correct. But the solution says no splitting. I thought the CH3 would have a doublet and then the H would have a quartet. Why is there no splitting?

I'd pick another resources because that's a mistake. You should get a doublet and a quartet (the quartet being very down field)
