When people talk about using the NMS book for surgery, are they referring to NMS Surgery or NMS Surgery Casebook? Thanks!

Depends. I say "NMS Surgery" to refer to the textbook and "NMS Casebook" to refer to the casebook.

To throw some chum in the water, I think the casebook is a mediocre reference, and I loved the text.
