Here's my stats
3.7 cGPA, 3.7 sGPA, 33M mcat (13ps,12bs, 8vs), and
some clinical, non clinical, and research experiences..
I already did several interviews, but hasn't been accepted to any of those schools yet.

If I can't get in this year, do you guys think it's because of my low verbal, and writing mcat score?

Should I retake Mcat in order to apply this upcoming cycle?

BTW, I'm an asian.

Where all did you apply? How many schools did you interview at? Could you have tanked the interviews?

I applied 25 schools, interviewed 6 including one top tier school.
I think I did fairly okay, and I'm still waiting.

So you went 0 for 6 on interviews? How many were outright rejections and how many were wait lists? When was your last interview?

If you don't get in, retake MCAT because 8 verbal hurts you. A balanced score like 10-10-10 is better than a 12-12-6. If you want top tier I think 36+ MCAT will get you a lot of looks. Then again, you already have a 13 and 12 in PS and BS...very hard to top, so I'm not 100% recommending retaking. You still have time, cycle isn't over yet.

Check those 6 schools you interviewed at. If they are rolling admissions, keep your fingers crossed. If they are not, well you have as good as chance as anyone at those places. Good luck.

howd your interviews go? your getting interviews so stats isnt your problem

I think OP is still waiting to hear back from some of the 6 schools he interviewed at, so he's not 0/6 as of right now. Keep sending update letters/LOIs to schools that waitlisted you and hope for the best. A waitlist can very possibly turn into an acceptance and all you need is 1. Start or continue with some clinical volunteering gig and some other activities that you're interested in in case you do need to reapply. I wouldn't worry about retaking the MCAT right now but just focus more on ECs and be proactive until the end of this cycle.

That's actually pretty scary=/ I'll have about the same stats by the time I graduate and I'm Indian=[ Good luck man! Hopefully you get into one of them.. Which schools did you apply and did you have any publications?

Yeah, since you're getting interviews, I vote for the MCAT not being a problem. Perhaps you can do some interview prep with physicians in your area. call them up, maybe they're alumni of schools that you get interviews to, and you can do a practice interview. this may give you some pointers. also, use your spare year to work on volunteer experience. finally, your stats are awesome, so don't worry, it will work out somewhere in the end.
