Darn it, this is my second time applying and I wasn't this desparate last year. But this year, I'm starting to get really upset. I don't know what I'm upset at... not at myself, because I've done just about everything I could; not at the adcoms, because I've accepted the fact that this process is a crapshoot. I dunno. I'm going loco 😕 🙁 😕

I guess I should join this group. But three weeks from now, my state school will send out their first round of acceptances, so I hope I'll be on that list...

And I still have hope for Stanford... 🙂

Bump. I got waitlisted at Wash U. Now I have 5 wait lists. The others are Tulane, Columbia, NYU and Emory. I'm waiting to hear from only SUNY Downstate post-interview. What are my chances? I just want to get in anywhere.

1 waitlist, 1 post-interview rejection, and still waiting to hear post-interview results from UCLA, Mount Sinai, and USUHS. I'm really starting to regret withdrawing post-interview invite from Albany and NYMC because if I don't get in, I'll always wonder if one of those would have been the one.

I've had four interviews since early March, with one more coming up in May (hopefully, I won't have to go). Still waiting on post-interview decisions and still have one more school that continues to tell me, "your file is still under review," prolonging my misery. This has been a awful year, hopefully we'll all have something to celebrate soon. Good luck to all of us!

Conditional Acceptance = You have to do Such and Such in order to keep your acceptance, when we check up on you, if you have not done Such and Such, then your acceptance is rescinded.

At least thats my understanding after reading a letter than one of my friends got that was a conditional acceptance

I have to successfully complete a summer program which basically consists of abbeviated classes in the basic sciences in order to gain "offical" acceptance into the first year class. 🙄
