I am applying for the 2005 enetering class but until then I will have around 100 creadit hours. ( no bachelor degree). my AA is 19 and GPA 3.8.
Does anyone know my chances for

USC, UCSF, LLU, UOP, UF, Univ Maryland, UNLV, VCU?

If it helps, I applied last year as a junior, with 119 hours. I had a 20/17 DAT, and 3.84 GPA, 3.91 science. I interviewed, but was not accepted, and was told to get my degree then they would love to have me. The only problem with not having a degree, is everyone who has an application similar to yours has one step up on you, and most schools view getting the degree as "paying your dues." Or so I was told. Hope this helps, and good luck.

ah yes, the pre-degree club. I am also a current (2005) pre-degree applicant. 18/18. I called my prospective schools and most of them said that it's not that big of a deal. But I don't know. I just thought, hey what the heck, I might as well take a shot at it (applying early). I will have 90+ credit hours by the end of this year also. I just hope I get some interveiws, then I can sweep them of their feet with my charm and good looks!!

by the end of this year means before u get into dental school or at the end of 2004???? i have a similar situation..i did ask the schools before and they said "it does not matter..as u long as u have over 90 cerdit hr before getting in" and they seemed to be annoyed when i asked again to make sure...😛

I know that UOP is a DAT school - they seem prize high DAT scores over a high gpa. Although your DAT is a good score, it might be below their radar, but it never hurts to apply.
