So I just took DAT and got 22 AA, 21 TS, 22 PAT, and I have 3.729 oGPA and 3.605 sGPA.

I'm a NY residence and these are the schools I'm looking at and sent the scores to.

Boston University
Columbia University
New York University
S.U.N.Y., Buffalo
S.U.N.Y., Stony Brook
Temple University
Tufts University
University of Maryland
University of New Jersey
University of Pennsylvania
University of Pittsburgh

I didn't take biochem, AnP, and cell bio, if it's a requirement to some schools so let me know if I shouldn't apply to any of them for that reason.

So I don't have much of EC, I didn't do research, I joined BBB and biology club but no leadership positions. I don't have community service either.
I did 100 hours of shadowing, tutored gen chem, and took some dental related courses if that counts. I worked at my dad's acupuncture office to greet people and prepared patients and stuff, you know.

My top choice would be stony brook and NYU would be my second. I'm wondering if my no EC will kill me or not, since most people do research and community services. I'd appreciate the honest opinions, and thank you so much for reading this post! Oh and I'll probably apply as soon as possible, hopefully within next two weeks 🙂

You should definitely be able to get into NYU.

Tutoring in gen chem will count as an EC. Your scores are great but make sure that cell bio and biochem is not a required for admissions. Doc toothache has a excel file with all the requirements that are out side of the typical Phys, bio, chem ect.

Nice! thank you, and thank you letting me know about the excel file!
