Hey, I took the August mcat and was verified 8/17/04. I did not receive a secondary from ROsalind Franklin, much less hear from them. what's going on?

They take forever to send out secondaries. I submitted AMCAS in June, was processed in early July, and didn't recieve a secondary from RF until mid-late August.

I was verified only a week earlier and just recieved their secondary yesterday, as did many others. I think they are sending to groups in mass email; its possible you may be in the next group. I dont think they screen, but im not certain.

They don't screen for sure.

yeah they don't screen and the secondary is really easy, just one optional essay. Just get your 95$ ready 🙄

What did you all think about the letter about their probation. It sounds like they are getting things fixed but man, it does sound a bit serious.

I hear they ask for proof that you can finance your education there. This is from a Canadian applicant. Is that in the secondary application?

I don't think its on the website. I actually got it as an attachment from them by email. I tried posting the PDF version and its too big to post.
Also the financial guarantee form is only for intermnational students not US Citizens and permanent residents.

if you're worried about cms losing it's accreditation, don't. it is highly unlikely that it will happen. the new faculty/dean have made dramatic changes to the school since the probation thing. just as a side note, cornell and temple have both been on probation in the past 10 yrs. good luck applying....
