Hey guys,

I have posted here before and now I am in need of an answer to a question. I took my DAT's in Early August and scored a AA 21, TS 24, PAT 21. My overall GPA is 3.15 and I have applied to 11 schools. Many schools are still under review with me and from USC I received a letter saying a lot of applicants have applied and they will be reviewing until February or something and I should keep checking my status.

What are my chances? I really want to go to USC or UCLA.. my other choices are Western, Loma Linda, UCSF, UOP, UNLV.

Theres your problem there (at least for UCLA).

I submitted my application on July 27 and followed along with secondaries from every school. And since then I have not heard from any school? How long does it take USC to respond? Like I said.. I took the DAT in August so from there on how long will it take?

Does it not help with high DAT scores? I mean I was a honors student in my Junior college and I took pretty much all honor classes and thus was regarded as being in the Science Academy.

I think UCLA is the only school that your gpa is gonna hurt you on. Im in the same boat still waiting on all the cali schools.

GPA is very important for UCLA so your chance for UCLA is very slim, unless you have a published research, but still 3.15 is too low for UCLA trust me. USC you might have a shot.

If i sent my application out a month ago.. When should I be expecting a result from USC? Also for UCSF I am under Review.. Do I have a chance with them as well?

hahaha yup yup sooo true! & so sad! I'm still waiting to hear from SOMEBODY.. wer all int he same boat..
do you think my stats are way too low for ucsf? i didnt bother for ucla of course. I feel that i wrote a strong secondary essay for ucsf on why they should pick me, but do those even count?
ugghh... so stressed out!!!!!!!! Hoping for usc interview also...
