So somebody told me about this 999999999 program code ("No Match") on NRMP. This code is at the top of the list if you search for all specialties, all program types, and all states. He said you can list this at the very bottom of your primary list and assign it your prelim/TY supplemental list. That way, if you don't match into your primary, you still have a shot at your intern year. It also saves $$$ because you could save yourself from going more than 20 on the primary list and avoid additional fees. However, when I enter this code, I get an "Invalid Program Code" message. Anybody know how to use this code?

Why even risk it? Just rank your prelim at the bottom of your "primary rank list" by itself (outside of the supplemental list) if that's what you want to do.
