OP, if you you contact them, tell the truth. No one is going to believe that it was accidentally left off by AMCAS. Your decision to apply at this age is already going to put you at a disadvantage, because no matter how much book knowledge you display, you will automatically be assumed to be lacking in life experience. Heck, some places won't even allow anyone under 18 on the floor as a volunteer because of liability issues. People are likely to be looking for a way to cut you down and view your preparation with skepticism. If they even suspect dishonesty, your slim chances will plummet. Sorry, but intelligence and book learning are only one aspect of what makes a successful applicant. The rest is much more subjective.

Well, I did send e-mails and said that I was a little confused about what to write in the personal comments section and was led to believe that I would be required to submit the personal statement at a later period of the admissions such as Secondaries or Interview. I attached my personal statement. Phew, I had 5,600+ characters on my original, so I trimmed it down to 5,389 =). But yea, the med schools basically replied... "Thank you, this will be added to your application." And um, Northwestern sent me their secondary finally.... two hours after having received my personal statement. But yea, like I actually have a reasonable chance at Northwestern with a 36... ****.

Let's assume your entire 3.65/36 business is an honest inquiry. So you weren't aware of the importance of a personal statement? You're attempting to lie about it to get into med school? You're stubbornly refusing to gain more experience after just 16 years of age before applying?

Listen jack, in all honesty, that's immaturity at its finest. Grow up.

Ditto. Perfect reason why I have to deal with a bunch of crap during my interviews. =/

In OPs defense, I had no idea the PS was a big deal until I found SDN. I had NEVER heard anyone talk about one. I am non-trad though and didn't have a pre-med committee/depratment to help me with the process. (THANK GOD I FOUND YOU SDN!!!)
