Hi all. I have applied to 21 schools and have heard back from 3. I have an interview at one in a few weeks and have been waitlisted at the other two. I called one of the schools to ask why I was waitlisted and was told that there was a comment on my application regarding physics not showing up on my transcript. She said this was the main reason that I did not get an interview. I thought that you did not need to have all the pre-reqs done before applying. I am taking Physics this semester and will have the requirement finished by the spring. Has anyone else had this problem? My mail first mail out date was 8/21 and my second (took DAT on 8/20) was 9/11. I have a 3.75 cum and 3.55 science with a 22AA, 22 TS, 20 PAT on the DAT.

I didn't apply with Physics on my transcript and received 6 interviews so far. Although, I did put it down as in-progress and finished the series this past summer.

Congrats on the interviews! That's awesome. Yeah, I did the same thing although I will be finishing in the spring.

Oh man I won't have the physics requirements either when I apply next year. I guess I could take Physics 1, but I was hoping to only take Orgo 2 + the lab next semester while I am studying for the DAT. I figured I would just take Physics in the summer. Maybe it's just that one school that likes to have physics completed. I was also told that it wasn't required to have all your prerequisites completed though.

Had a friend take physics last year during senior year and he applied without having taken it and he got acceptances to all schools he applied to. Pretty average applicant also ~3.5-3.6 GPA and 20 or 21 DAT. I don't understand why @tjwood isn't getting interviews.

Oh well. Thanks guys. I think that patience is the name of the game!
