Having realized the I literally never prescribe controlled substances, including within the hospital, I am leaning toward not renewing my DEA number and saving the money. Is there any disadvantage to this. I certainly do not want to do anything to cause myself any hassle, on the other hand, throwing away money is never a good idea.
