I interviewed as an out of state applicant on November 21st and have yet to receive any news on my status.

It's been a month and a half and I have no idea if I'm wait listed, or rejected.

Do schools usually contact you after the interview to let you know if you're wait listed or what not???

(i already tried email and leaving a voice message)

I also send thank you letters and submitted 2 additional recommendations.

I hope I hear something...anything...

how do we know what is going on with them?

I'm not asking anyone what my status is.

Let me clarify. Anyone had to wait over 1.5 or 2 months after an interview to hear a response from a school?

I am on the same boat as you...I interviewed on 10/20....that's more than 2 months. Still haven't heard anything...😕

USC responds after 4 weeks, Western about the same, Loma Linda usually within 2 weeks, Oregon State ED was within 2 weeks, but I think it had to do with PharmCAS deadline. That's not to say some schools don't take 6 weeks, it just wasn't my experience when I applied.

I interviewed at UHH almost five weeks ago, and have yet to hear anything. It sucks, especially when you read the forums and others are getting accepted.

Same here. Haven't heard a word. This is getting so depressing...🙁

Some schools can wait a while. For my school, everyone will hear by March. So, for example, if you got an early interview like November, but haven't heard anything since its because they're still undecided about you compared to the other applicants (who by the way, if they are top notch, will hear sooner than you like within that week for example). I know its fustrating to wait about their decision, but you have to remember they want to fill in their seats first with the best students before moving on to the others. And that could mean waiting for a while, but this is a good thing: meaning they haven't rejected you! So just pray that you'll be able to compete with the other applicants in the same pool as you that were not accepted yet.

I heard something a day after my interview with Union but I believe if you don't hear anything, you are put on the waiting list.

I did call Union after I got accepted and never got a single call back from them. They are hard to get a hold of sometime I guess.

Thanks for everyone's input. They were very helpful.

For those still waiting, all we can really do is wait, pray, retake a few classes...and

Expect the worse (to apply again next year), and hope for the best.

good luck everyone!🙂
