if i take the PCAT more than once and everytime i choose no score option..will this show on my history or on the transcript when i choose to score the exam?

Why would you do that? Sounds like a waste of money. Honestly, when I took the test I left crying - I couldn't even finish the chem or math sections and thought that I really bombed it. I ended up doing quite well. Study until you are really ready, time yourself and try to make your practice sessions as close to testing conditions as possible, and take the exam for reals.

I would not recommend "no score" option at all. The score will make you aware of the area of your weakness and the level of commitment/effort you need to study for the next test. I've learned my lesson. After all the study and the stress during the exam, you want to get some result, right?

I am contemplating on choosing the no score option. I already took the PCAT once before in Octuber 07. I did really bad, a 43 composite. I will be applying to UB, and they will average my pcat scores if I take it more then twice. That means that if I did bad on this Jan 08 test, I will have no chance for UB in the future, because they will average my low pcat score. So I really don't know what to do, I may decide to have the scores sent out if I felt good about the test. If not, I will choose the no score option.

🙁

It is up to you, if you finish the exam and you can vouch for yourself that you studied hard and improved significantly, then you should leave it as it is. But if you find a lot of questions hard, i think you should bail out because it might hurt you again. I am in the same position except that i got 47 percentile due to my low verbal and comprehension, the rest were 66 and 74. Anyway i have brushed up on somethings i never knew before and hoping that things will be look up this time. Good luck on Saturday!
