I'm thinking to fly to the city the night before, sleep in a hotel, write my exam, and fly back. Cost would be around $525 (Air $200, Hotel $50, Car $50, and MCAT $225). Should I hold out for a chance at an exam in South Florida or should i have something definite in my hand and register elsewhere? I'm afraid of being 100% prepared and ready, and not being able to write the exam. I mean, is md2be's experience pretty common (getting a seat at the last minute)?
