Guys, so basically I took my exam a while ago and I hadn't been able to check my score until recently because of nerves.

Well yesterday, I told myself that enough is enough and I would check my score since I had the long weekend to cope with any bad results. I checked my score and I have a 254. I am ecstatic about the score but now I feel like I have to keep the pact or I'll jinx myself :scared:

Guys, so basically I took my exam a while ago and I hadn't been able to check my score until recently because of nerves. I did poorly on an NBME just days before my exam so I was really hoping to get a 230 or above on the real thing. Long story short, I had freaked myself out into believing I had failed the exam and I kept putting off checking my score.

Well yesterday, I told myself that enough is enough and I would check my score since I had the long weekend to cope with any bad results. Before actually checking my score, I made a no fap pact promising myself that if I got above a 250, I will not fap for the whole year. I made this pact because it seemed completely out of reach and it was humorous and helped me calm myself down. Well I checked my score and I have a 254. I am ecstatic about the score but now I feel like I have to keep the pact or I'll jinx myself :scared:

Congrats! Just get your girlfriend to fab for you, problem solved 😳

Man I thought I was the only one that uses that to force myself into doing stuff haha

Why would you punish yourself for good results? You should've said, "If I don't get at least a 250, I won't do it for a year." Then you would've had motivation. I'm surprised you didn't throw the test.
