Just took aamc * test and noticed we had to know what a **** looked like....I got that question wrong.

How extensive should our knowledge of organic naming be for the real test?

Anyone got a list of common names for compounds we should know, btw? acetylene, acetone, formate...

Know all the functional groups.

Use process of elimination for nomenclature and functional group identification.

please don't reference knowing any functional group, or anything for that matter, to a specific aamc test.
