Can you talk about non-academic experiences in your application or get a recommendation from that experience even though it does not revolve around medicine nor school? I worked in a business as a manager and wanted to ask my boss/owner if he could write me a letter, speaking about my capabilities as a leader etc... Will this be favorable to my application or since it is neither academics nor medicine be unhelpful to adcoms?
