Non-ACGME Cardiology Fellowships

Hey Everyone,

I was wondering if there is anywhere I can find a list of Non-ACGME Cardiology fellowships to do BEFORE cardiology fellowships (IE If someone doesn't match). I haven't been able to find a full list.

If there isn't a full list, please send me any that you know about!

Hmm.... not aware of non-acgme/non-accredited Cardiology fellowships but do know of some fellows who ended up doing a single year of Cardio Oncology or HF prior to their General Fellowship for whatever reason.... not matching, needing a buffer year due to family/spouse, etc..

Yes this is what I meant, Heart Failure , Cardio Onc, Preventative, etc. Is it something I'd just have to search around for or is there something comprehensive?

Sorry, don't have a list for you. But I know there are a lot of advanced cardiac imaging fellowships out there that are non-ACGME accredited., and people often do those when they don't match. It's actually pretty useful, because once you start cardio fellowship, you'll be ahead of everyone else when it comes to reading echoes, nuclear SPECT imaging and cardiac CT.
