Can anyone contribute to a list of non-aupo VRS fellowships that go through the SF Match?

I attempted to contact SF Match for a full list of participating programs and they would not provide one.

For instance: I do not see McGill or University of Toronto on that list, but I believe they do go through the SF Match.

AUPO doesn't mean anything, but if you are trying to compile a full list of retina fellowships, these are the non-AUPO 2 year retina fellowships that I see on the SFmatch site:

Calgary Retina Consultants
University of Alberta
Retina Institute of California
Bascom Palmer
Beraja Fellowship
Retina Institute of Hawaii
Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary/UIC
Retinal Consultants Des Plaines
Dr. Gitter, New Orleans
Tufts
National Retina Institute
National Eye Institute
Retina Consultants of St. Louis
Cole/Cleveland Clinic
Akron
U Toronto
U Pitt
McGill
Charles Retina Institute
Vitreoretinal Foundation (TN)
Retina & Vitreous of Texas
South Texas Retina Consultants
Valley Retina Institute (Texas)
U Virginia
West Virginia U
Retina Specialists (WV)
Marshall University

To chime in, AUPO compliance is a relatively new thing, and initially it was more of a guideline than fast and hard rules. The main importance from what I gathered is that an AUPO-certified program is supposed to guarantee strong well-rounded training, but even the numbers seem to be lax. The surgical numbers from their website indicate that you only need to perform or assist in 40 buckles, 100 vitrectomies, and 75 PRPs/focals. Those numbers seem a bit low to me, especially for vitrectomies. There's nothing regarding melanomas/plaques, uveitis, or ROP/pediatric retina. During interviews some fellows have told me that to be AUPO certified, you it's mostly filling out paperwork and paying the fee. There are several programs that offer excellent training and recognition that do not have the AUPO certification (such as BPEI, RCStL, Tufts, UVA, WVU, etc.).

Thanks again, Is someone (maybe OphResearch) able to write in the number spots offered per cycle at each of these non-aupo fellowships?

AUPO means nothing. There are really bad fellowships that are AUPO and very good fellowships that aren't.
