It's moments like this that I wonder why I am not licensed in a place with palm trees. I clearly need to move further south because it is cold and I see snow.

Was the patient honest about where they were?

Very much so! They just figured because it was a remote session they could log on from where they were. No deceit intended, and they totally understood the need to reschedule.
